Shipping Destinations

We ship worldwide however only online orders for delivery within Australia attract flat rates. International order flat rate of $25 applies to orders under 500g. For international orders please contact us via email before purchasing. Please include details of your required items along with delivery address so we can obtain the best quote.

Freight

For your convenience postage rates are as follows:

  • Orders within Melbourne metro is $10.50 Flat rate postage excludes furniture and selected bulk items
  • Orders within Australian capital cities metro areas are calculated at checkout excluding furniture
  • Free for orders over $150 on clothing and footwear Australia wide – please see details below under Free freight
  • International orders minimum $25 (contact store for estimate)

*Please Note: Bulky Items (such as furniture and related) are measured on the cubic weight and may incur an extra fee, regardless of spend value and location. If an extra fee is payable we will contact you to confirm payment before your order is dispatched. You will then have the option of adding the freight or cancelling your order. Alternatively, please contact us prior to purchase for a quote.

Free freight

Orders on clothing and footwear over $150 ex GST will be sent on free freight. Orders under incur a delivery fee to all metro areas and capital cities in Australia. 

Free Freight also applies to clothing and footwear sale items.

Carriers | Order tracking

To provide you with a fast and efficient service, we use a variety of carriers, depending on your location and goods ordered. Details will be emailed to you once dispatched, advising the carrier used and full tracking details.

Please note that regional areas may incur an additional charge for bulky items furniture etc.  Should additional charges apply you will be contacted by the store with further information.

Transit estimates

We aim to dispatch your order within 1-2 business days. Please use this as a guide only, during trade events and busy holiday periods such as the lead up to Christmas there may be delays.

Should you require your purchase on a specific date please let us know when finalising you order in the “comments” section.

You will be contacted via email with an estimated delivery time for all furniture orders. Please allow up to 8 – 12 weeks for all furniture orders, unless advised that they are in stock in our warehouse.

We do our utmost to keep all ETA’s on time, but please understand we are working on advice from manufacturers, distributors, importers etc and these ETA’s can change at times due to adverse conditions with manufacturing & shipping.

Items missing from order

If an invoiced item doesn’t arrive, please let us know within 7 days of receipt – the sooner the better to help us track missing items. If an item on your order is sold out, we will always notify you in advance prior to shipping.

Items arrive damaged

If you receive damaged items, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and keep hold of the product. We may want to organise collection, or see how we can prevent it happening again.

Faulty items & warranty

To maintain high quality standards, we like to hear about manufacturing faults as they occur. Many of our brands offer warranties. Contact us for more information.

Returns

If for some reason you are not completely happy with your purchase from KID, it may be returned for exchange or credit note only. Credit notes are valid for 6 months.

There are no exchange or returns available on Sale items. All items purchased on Sale are final.

Items will only be accepted for exchange or credit note under the following conditions:

• The item is unused, unworn and in brand new condition with packaging intact and the original labels attached.

• A copy of receipt is included with the return.

• The item is returned within 14 days of the receipt date.

Please note that all conditions must be strictly adhered to in regards to returns and exchanges and that exchanges will not be accepted under any conditions if you fail to meet these requirements.

Postage costs of returned items are the responsibility of the customer.

All returns require an authorisation number so please contact the store via email: contact@kid.com.au

Full Refunds will be honoured only when goods are deemed faulty and they will need to be viewed by KID before refund transacted. Refunds will only be deposited into the Credit Card or account used at the time of purchase.

Custom & Furniture Orders

There is a no return/exchange available on custom or furniture ordered items, except in the case of faulty products.
