Blabla Peekaboo, Pierre Book
Peekaboo Pierre Book is about a playful bunny who is the postman of the meadow. He challenges the young reader to catch him on his round because he has a special delivery! It takes several Blabla friends to capture him; but at the end, it’s all worth it!
Blabla was created in 2001 by, Susan Pritchett and Florence Wetterwald, two good friends with the same philosophy of life and beauty.
While visiting Peru, Susan and Florence came across entire villages of expert knitters who had been keeping the tradition alive for generations.
Inspired by their talent and the incredible quality and softness of Peruvian cotton, they decided to start their own company of cuddly knitted products for children.
Florence is a French artist who studied sculpture and industrial design in Europe and the USA. She is the creative force and designer of Blabla. Susan is from Albany, Georgia. She worked as a photo and film stylist in NY and Australia before coming back to Atlanta. She is in charge of marketing and communication. Joseph is from Atlanta. Film and business were his majors. He is Blabla’s locomotive and CFO.
The Blabla range of dolls, rattles and soft textiles for baby and children is a wonder for the senses. Everything they make invites cuddles and they speak beautifully to children with their simple and whimsical designs.
They have now been collaborating with the same artisans for over a decade with a commitment to fair trade practices.
